RELAY FOR LIFE CHALLENGE

I know that all of us have had cancer or the threat of cancer come
into our lives at one time or another. It may be ourselves, our
loved ones, friends or even just a someone you met in passing. Because
of this, I would like to ask each and everyone of you to think about
what I am challenging you to do. Each year, the American Cancer
Society holds an event called RELAY FOR LIFE. This is held all
over the country. Teams are formed and they raise funds and
then they spend the night walking a course, keeping someone
from their team on the track at all times though out the night,
because cancer never sleeps.

My challenge is that you or you and a group of quilting buddies
get together to make a quilt that one of these teams can use for a
raffle to raise funds. Maybe you can even form a team of those who
make the quilt.

and find one in your area. My daughter has been on a team for a few
years now and I know how special it is to her.

QUILT OF HOLES

For those of you who read and enjoyed this email story, I have moved it to my "Quilting Stories" page. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING CHARGES

I have added International First Class to my choices for shipping out of the United States. Up to 10 yards or four pounds can go in the poly mailers at a considerable savings to you. Your shipping cost will be the actual charge, not necessarily what you see on your order form. I will adjust for lesser amounts after I see the country. The chart shows the highest rate that would be charged. If you have any questions, feel free to email me before you order

FAT THIRDS

We all love Fat Quarters (18" x 20"), but have you ever wished for just a smidgen more? Some of the fat quarter patterns mean you have to use every last bit of that fat quarter or may even be short. A Fat Third gives you 24" x 20". Now you can have some of that fabric left for a border, sashing, corner squares or maybe just for an oops you may make. I am offering this cut for all my fabric.

QUILTING STORIES

I have added a new feature called "Quilting Stories". If you have a special story about a quilt you made or received, please email me so I can add it to the list. We all love to hear about quilts.

TIPS

Your help is needed to increase the tips to pass on to all our fellow quilters. Email me any tip that you have learned that may help make our lives easier when we are doing any aspect of quilting.

My fabric is 100% cotton with widths ranging from 42-44 inches. I sell in 1/4 yard increments when you are purchasing from bolts of fabrics.

The fabric on this site is NOT flame retardant, so please do not use it for children's sleepwear.
